The Lake Gaston Weed Control Council has a great website for more information about the current annual spaying for Lyngbya, which is currently underway.

Residents and guests and should carefully follow the guidance provided while the spraying occurs and exercise caution in accordance with the LGCC's guidance for the recommended period after the spraying has occurred. Additional updates, including in-depth articles on the annual weed control program, will be available shortly at Lake Gaston News at lakegastonnews.com.

The LGCC website, which can be accessed by clicking the link below, provides very detailed information about the program to control Lynbya and hydrilla at Lake Gaston.
